Soda checks is a new language for describing what good data looks like. It aims to help companies find and fix problems in their data applications. The project was started by the company's chief technology officer, John Boulden. He says that it has three key steps: finding issues, identifying root cause analysis and then acting on alerts.

Summary
Regardless of how data is being used, it is critical that the information is trusted. The practice of data reliability engineering has gained momentum recently to address that question.
