How to Combat Financial Crime in a Compliant Way

Can we ever get to a point where there is no financial crime depressing answer I think no if we think back like probably 50 years right it's always been there in some way or form. The question is more how do we keep the defenses up to a quote-unquote reasonable level and so on. Other than FBI or CIA the companies it's not their core business to combat financial crime it's just the side equation of I need to ensure that it's happening in a compliant way. How do we find the balance in what's right how do how do we combat it and how do we evolve as the criminal side evolves?
