The Impact of Domestic Care on Women's Careers
Australia comes out worse than a number of South American countries that are on the list. Unsurprisingly what came out was sexual harassment, sexual violence and domestic abuse in the survey. The gender pay gap came in just behind these issues in fourth place. We know that the unequal division of care is a major contributor to the gender pay gap. More women are telling us that child care responsibilities coming up during the working day is likely to affect them.
