"We were set up in two sniper teams, kind of side by side, maybe like the width of this room apart. And so we're watching them push and we're starting to engage ISIS fighters that are, you know, shooting at the Iraqi movement," he says. "And then one of the guys was shooting at a fighter that was shooting at Iraqis and the round skipped off the ground and ricocheted and hit him in the leg." He adds: "I came right there was a name for like, I don't know, it doesn't happen".
