In 18 forty eight, in upstate new york, 87 other people formed a commune. It was christian but like the exact opposite of what the calogs and seventh day adventists believed in. The oneida community completely banished all ownership of property. All members of the commune worked, but nobody owned anything. Also, everyone was married to each other - it was a system known as complex marriage.
