Low vol stocks have somewhat more interest rate risk a bit longer duration one year to be specific. With our conservative strategies we can mitigate some of that risk, all of it but even in both cases it can never fully explain the anomaly. If the anomaly is like 3% alpha then interest rate could explain up to 30% so yes but put it in perspective.
