I think that philosophical ideas require all sorts of empirical conditions till iy take hold and get themselves fully appreciated. I won't say the field of economics, i you could make that argument too. But ho could argue that it was the end of subsistence for most people, the growth of the potentialor economic growth, that allowed people to indulge finally in their taste or yearning. If i could make it a little more poetic, their yearning for being treated with dignitywithout that, i con just a book on a shelf where i your thoughts.
