Syrian Experiences of Remaking Home
Syrian conflict displaced 13.5 million people or over 60% of the country's pre-war population. About half are internally displaced and still living in Syria while over 6 million engaged in migratory journeys. The latter are now asylum seekers residing in neighbouring countries and elsewhere, including Europe and North America. A new study by Susan Ilkhan and Dickey Squire explores Syrian experiences of remaking home on a global scale.
