People don't get enough attention about the importance of trust. Until someone gives you that trust, until someone has faith in you to do the right thing, you will always doubt that. We are always being presented with opportunities to trust people and to give them responsibility or control them. It's important to realize that that can make a really big difference. Think about all the stories of students who are really struggling. Only takes one teacher to believe in the student. It only takes one boss or c o to really believe in an employee in order for them to start believing in themselves. Doesn't take a lot, just takes one.
