The Importance of Space in Therapy
At first I asked for space from the relationship which even that sentence in itself is such a huge flag if you're talking about a therapeutic relationship. There was the therapy itself and then there was a group of people, myself included. And it got a lot where I wasn't agreeing with what I was seeing. It felt very cult-like to be honest. Anything that I was saying that felt very true for me was being dismissed and classified as ego. That was the point where I just said, I really feel like I need space.
