Are These Must in Any EDC System?

There's a lot of e d c companies out there. So for me, regardless of the cost, plays a big factor. I tend to pick systems not based on cost, but both in stability and security for the system as well as do i have a lot of a flexibility on how i design y my case report forms? For example, do they allow me to use a programms that are developed outside the system to within the system itself? Can i integrate this daa a certain way? Not only that, when it comes to security, ain security is very important.
