If there was less polarizing in the United States, like take Canada, for example, right, obviously more left wing overall. Right. But if there was less, less polarization, then you just wouldn't get as many natural experiments. We wouldn't have found out that actually, you know, non pharmaceutical interventions were widely ineffective. That vaccines were effective. The whole world is the standard randomized controlled trials for the first stuff definitely. Polarization meant that you had a much bigger menu of choice than you would have traditionally had back in the old days of the Rockefeller Republicans. You have weird states doing weird things.
