Sanscrit is the mother tongue, maybe, of all indo european languages. It's natively spoken by like half the planet. Some of those roots in latin and greek, you can find them in the sanscrit. In vadic literature, they talk about soma - a sacrament that opens the eyes of the initiates to heaven.
