Kylie Monaghan, Voluntary Euthanasia Bill
Andra: I have found most moving, humbling is sitting alongside people and staying up all night watching parliamentary debates. For them to give the last of their precious days and weeks to see a law pass that wasn't going to benefit them was profoundly moving. Kylie Monaghan agreed to be the human face of our campaign in South Australia - she died before debate ended. Her parents were on the steps of Parliament House when voluntary euthanasia bill passed. Andra: The church completely misunderstood and underestimated what they're up against. It took a lot of politicians to be able to cross the line, but mostly it's been an extraordinary example of a community movement.
