The Confusion of Queer Youth and Adulthood

I still think that sort of nationally when we talk about where we are with this conversation and I don't mean people's real life experience I mean sort of the like anecdotal where our conversation is as a country. It does seem to be that we're still thinking about the experience of the trans person as being like there was a youth that was lived under one identity and then an adulthood that's lived in a different identity. So I know that even though we're like in the queer community we might be or sometimes it's like there'll be some story in time or whatever it is but I also think there is this sort of predominant story.
