Is There a Direction That Democracies Go In?
I worry that might be wishful thinking, that it bends in a good direction. You never know what kind of disruption is around the corner. The history of democracy tells me that it moves in crest and crufts or three waves of democratization. At the moment, we are seeing a global democraticrecession. In likesop in my opinion, for next couple of years, we will see more constraints on democratic values and norm but then there will be revival.
