How to Be Smart and Still Be Devoid of Common Sense
In India, they won't cut your hair on a Tuesday because it's considered bad luck. People in China and Japan are weird about the number four. I worked with many people who had PhDs who could have built a rocket ship from toothpicks and a sponge but couldn't tie their own shoelaces if their lives depended on it. How is it that so many people who are hugely intelligent do really unintelligent stuff?
