The Problem With Christians in Political Power
LZ Granderson: Is it the problem of Christians wanting to specifically a Christian in charge or simply their favorite political candidate? LZ: I would agree. My party got just enough amount of Christian wrapping paper on it. Sometimes they want aChristian in charge, but why didn't so many people back Jimmy Carter against Reagan? So that makes me think it's the latter. And if Trump wins, and I'm like, well, that is a sign you're investing too much hope in the opposite side of the spectrum.
