Why Should We Pray?

The first reason we pray is because God embodied in the person of Jesus, did it. He modeled it for us. We have to get away and actually pray. And again, I wonder if some of us don't do that because we're worried about the content. Maybe we should be focused more on the connection. When I'm in your presence, everything changes. Even the request that I thought I was going to bring up would change. It's amazing what can happen when you just step into his presence.
