Boltzmann introduced a measure over the set of micro-states and it's the simplest measure you could think of. Then we're going to interpret that as a probability measure. What's the meaning of probability? Well, it's the one I told you that's given out of Lewis's metaphysics of probability. Now put all that together. We have this kind of practice, a package, a physical theory of the micro and macro-physical world.
