The big red dog Clifford was a mouse and i would i would put forward just the general urge that i always give my listeners is to go study the actual history of China at that time because you cannot understand these movements and these ideologies without understanding the material context in which they took place. I'd recommend listening to an earlier episode we had with dr. Doug Patterson it's called the resistance in the 60s and he gives us really interesting account of this Maoist group that was on campus.
