The Conflict of Moral Codes
John Avlon: The idea of appealing to the greater good or, you know, the good of society is a conflict of moral codes in a way. He says it tends to be the administer of the state doing something in their own self-interest and representing it as morally superior somehow. Avlon: I don't see how that could be anything other than the aggregate manifestation of the free market.
