Joshua Madsen is a PhD in religion from Florida State University with an emphasis in religions of Western antiquity and a minor in American religious history. While completing research for his dissertation on the status of the Hebrew Bible Minor Prophets, Josh lived with his family in the Holy Land. Right now he is one of the editors in one of the volumes of the BYU New Testament commentary series,. He's from Chubbock, Idaho. His parents have four children.
