The Fall of Sigmund Freud
Sigmund Freud has had a significant fall from grace. He got just about everything wrong, he says. We all kind of live in a world that was partially created by Freud. For me his great accomplishment was he really did build a science of the mind based on the idea of a dynamic unconscious. But the notion that we don't know why we do what we do has remained. And I think is important.
