CHAPTER

The Slavery Campaign in England

I love the story and I love that it sets up in the intro of your book. Just an absolutely extraordinary sentence which I have thought about many times since I read it. You said the campaign in England was something never seen before. It was the first time a large number of people became outraged and stayed outraged for many years over someone else's rights. There had been nothing like this. Yet, if we don't have the ability to do that, there is no hope for us on this planet because we can't just be agitating for our own self-interest.
