The Rust Working Group for Embedded Systems
In 2017, you couldn't make a Rust program run on a microcontroller using stable Rust. You had to use nightly Rust because you needed unstable features. We agreed stable Rust is just a better foundation for building software. The Rust embedded working group said no we want to build a world where all microcontrollers are equal and you can move from one to the other. It has a bunch of related groups to do with each kind of process of family.
