North Point community church changed its name in 2006 when we relocated out to the northwest of Edmonton, built a new building. Central Pentecostal tabernacle really began in 1917 and it was just some faithful people opening up their home. The Buntanes and Tate and Juris, George Smith, just some wonderful people that have come through there. It really was a church that was very influential in the whole Edmonton area. So many people at one time or another were a part of central.
