The Reversal Test and the Black Ball
If you've got a set of embryos and he basically he calls it the reversal test because of that thought experiment it's went through. A hundred percent of people would never select in favor of lower intelligence among their embryos or lower disease burdens but what that suggests is they have this heuristic that's leading them to think that the average of what we have now is perfect right? And I don't either for Darwinian reasons it's obviously false so the real question is if we if we take boston phase one the reversal test and we say okay therefore we do have reasons to select in Favor of some of these traits that seem to be socially beneficial and individually beneficial cognition personality traits lower disease
