The Ukraine War: What's Optimistic?

Stephen Biddle: I'm optimistic that if funded, Ukraine will be able to preserve its independence and probably continue to gain ground. The Ukrainians have outperformed everybody's expectations and that's something that warrants celebration. But there are reasons to worry that it may be later rather than sooner. Our guest was Dan Willingham, who's professor of cognitive psychology at the University of Virginia. He discussed strategies to improve your learning process as well as observations on current teaching methods.
