I'm Looking for Misty

The writer was stuck in the middle of the night with a sick coworker. He tried to call for help, but couldn't remember which department she worked in. Eventually he managed to get her on the phone and told her what had happened. She said they needed to escape before Hurricane Katrina hit California. The author then walked home hoping that misty would say thank you.
