Lovecraft's Confederacy of Denses

Lovecraft's Confederacy of Denses was the closest thing to a novel that he ever wrote. The story has this thing where like he's talking about how you can make new beings out of the essential salt. One night they heard a strange screaming in the morning. They found a 10 foot tall man with no eyes, ears or mouth laying cold and naked face down in the river. He could each be their own Lovecraft story, but like he just kind of throws them out there like a pretzel stick and then runs away.
