Is It Necessary That I'm White?

White liberals may accept that they are a member of this group. But in terms of affection for the group, for its, for its myths and symbols and collective memory, I'm skeptical. It's not to say they have zero white identity, but yeah, I don't see that it's a driving force in their conception of what matters to them now.
