How to Deal With Trigger Finger on the Road

I had a hand condition when I was born called trigger finger and it means that the tendons in my hands were would essentially be too swollen to allow me to move my hands. When I started playing guitar I was just going to be a guitarist that came back and I couldn't open my hands for a while. And my doctors told me I had to stop playing guitar so I started writing songs and the rest is history and that's it. The repetitive of hand motion and stuff really messes with them.
