Pragmatism, the Chief Vehicle for Delusion and Egotism

The number one priority of a group is always to defend itself. Not truth, but the opposite of truth, falsehood. Another principle of collective ego is that it's all about increasing control and leverage. The more the ego evolves, the more it starts to open up to possibilities beyond pure pragmatism. More science, more rationalism, more materialism, just leads more pragmatist. It does not get you to truth.
