Ella Deloria's Translation of Fallen Star

Ella Deloria developed this innovative new literary translation method that allowed her to correct and retranslate these stories from the perspective of Dakota with Lakota people. Riggs filters his translation through this Christian lens he casts women in the role of Eve and they're responsible for the fall of man and Deloria completely rejects that idea so I try and show these stories side by side because again I really want to emphasize that point that these narratives are told from two very different perspectives.
