Twitter mastodon is an open source community on social media. It's a little bit more like old internet, but there are some downsides to it too. One of the problems that people have with mastodon is that they have to choose a server. If you go to join mastodon.org, it's a flashy site with cartoon elephants and things on it. But then the first button presents you with a hard choice.
