I was able to get my LDL from 150 160 kind of in that range with lifestyle interventions. My biggest problem personally was getting adequate protein intake well at that time this was years ago I was running a lot more and doing more like you know marathons and ultras. We've both had different points in our lives shared that same reluctance  to go on another prescription medication.
