The Disruption of the Disciple of Jesus Christ
There is no other life in masculine initiation than that of the disciple of Jesus Christ. We come out of what feels like security but we actually are invited into security which feels unsafe but we're actually invited into safety. The narrative arc of his masculine initiation was coming into the kind of person that whatever he has and wherever he is he can make it through in the one who makes him who he is. His entire being is organized around God and sustained by him that's the point of our life.
