What Are Your Favorite Books?

Brooke: When you bring children into the equation of revelation it really changes the equation or can change it and I think about my own kids who actually always seem rather disinterested in what I've written so I'm not sure what they've read if anything but I do assume that they'll read my work someday. She says she doesn't like to write with other people's eyes in your mind because "I don't think that that's the best creative place for me" Brooke also recommends Katherine Harrison's The Kiss which is an absolutely incredible book where the writer actually writes about an incestuous affair with her father and she just got raped through the coals for that book.
