I think that's simply underplays just how random history, randomly history unfolds. One of the things we need to start thinking constructively is hope. You know, the sense that it will come to an end and let's get started on building the alternative that's going to take its place. And I do think that once a kind of common inheritance leaves a society, particularly, it dissolves relatively quickly as we've seen in the West over the last 30, 40, 50 years. That does create a vacuum. Nature, the natural world, the spiritual world, appores a vacuum as it were.
