The movement was created and led by black faminists who identify that there's so much more to reproductive health and rights than abortion. While we have to protect what we've achieved in terms of abortion, we also need to turn our heads to the other crises that are already upon us. Just the connections between something like poverty and racism. How can these things change or affect somebody's reproductive freedom?
