I'm not at all convinced that you can infer from the fact that Jesus said that, that he believed in a global flood. I think if he did believe that, then we get into very difficult theological questions about what that implies for us. And so, yeah, it's also open to saying that maybe he didn't really say that. So I'm not certain either way.
