The Matrix in San Francisco
The Matrix is a film about how we're all living in a computer simulation. In an early scene, our hero hides a computer disk in a hollowed out copy of a book by the French postmodernist Jean Baudrillard. The Matrix is totally derivative of a 1973 movie called World On A Wire which was an adaptation of a 1964 novel called Simulacra 3 that was about Simulmatics.
