Is Machine Learning Good at Spotting?

There are certain types of patterns that machine learning is good at spotting. And then there's other types of pattens tht wil definilly be very bad at spotting. We're really seeing a transformation moment in the mathematical community, where people are beginning to realize it's silly just to rely on human tools. Tereally important point is we want to feel like we understand why something is the way it is.
