Does COVID Cause Pro-Calcitonin to Go Up?

In the early days when we were admitting these patients, you know, CRP, sometimes the Pro-Calcitonin, we're recommended in those situations to kind of help us. I think a lot of it is much like community acquired pneumonia is applying the guidelines and then also the clinical judgment and expertise that develop over time with that. We want it to say yes, no, but really it does require a lot of that clinical judgement and expertise in order to understand things.
