The Importance of Extending the Standard Model

All the bad news about the standard model is actually good news for physicists because it means more work to be done. If we ever reach a point where we can answer all of the questions that we're asking, I don't even know what to say about that. So lots of physicists are still thinking about the standardmodel today.
