Is There a Sciatic Nerve Injury?

Sciatic nerve injuries occur in up to 10 percent of cases probably the most common nerve abnormality especially with posterior dislocations. The key here is that they're in a trauma not just you know fall from standing because I had hip replacement. CT is extremely recommended after relocation to look and characterize the injury. These are just not very good at looking for subtle fractures in this area. If you have a fracture present you're obviously going to call your orthopedic colleague.
