Traveling - I Don't Like Touristy Places

i think i have an issue wit like really, really touristy places. I don't like when everything feels like it's a commercial. Everything was so touristy to a point where it was almost scary. And for me, as i'm getting older, travelling is less about feeling like i'm in some sort of dream world of monopoly business. Is that even what is a monopoly business? Ok?
