Is There an Argument Against Voltaire?
His statue in Paris near Les Abradlides was twice in recent years covered in red paint because of accusations about his views on slavery. And now the statue of Voltaire in Paris has been disappeared and there is... I didn't know that. The French authorities took it away about 18 months, two years ago. It kept attracting too much. Well they said it was for cleaning. Or Voltaire ain't coming back.
