In the animal welfare space in particular I think a lot of questions are just like well no one's really thought about this yet. It's going to be very hard to build a credible field and seem like serious people who are studying a real issue if even just the basic facts that one would bring to the table to describe the issue are not established. "It wouldn't surprise me if what animal well being goes on to become a serious thing which I kind of expect that it probably will then these numbers are going to be referred to a ton"
